Our Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake is a dense date sponge cake, loaded with chopped dates and soaked in a sweet toffee sauce.
To fully appreciate the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake, we recommend serving it warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. The cold cream provides a perfect contrast to the warm, sticky cake.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Remove the cake from its packaging and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Warm the cake in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until it’s heated through and the toffee sauce is bubbly.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 1-2 minutes.
- Top the cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Drizzle any remaining toffee sauce over the top of the cake and serve immediately.
