Sparkling Pale
A delightful multivintage sparkling wine from the stunning wine region of Alsace. Luscious in texture with persistent bubbles, the palate has creamy notes of apple crumble, lemon meringue, and shortbread.
91 Points – Wine Enthusiast Notes of ripe yellow apple play enticingly on the nose. They expand to full force on the palate and fill the mouth with their mellow goodness, supported in this by rich notes of shortbread and wonderful lemon freshness. The bubbles are creamy and disperse the lovely flavors to great effect. This is classy and delicious.
89 Points – Decanter This traditional method sparkling wine made from 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Blanc is a lovely alternative to the better known crémants of France, and even preferable to some bargain basement Champagnes. This is a crisp, fresh style but with plenty of depth and restrained richness from the addition of 20% reserve wine and 18 months spent on the lees. It has a fresh green apple character filled out with cream, spice and brioche notes towards the finish.
